We are delighted to announce the 2023 Foxrock Cabinteely Senior Ladies Management Team, led by newly appointed Manager Maureen King. Head of Team Selection and coach, is renowned Waterford player and LGFA Hall of Fame star Marie Crotty, “Crotty”. Rachel Doolin is Head of Player Management with Shane Rice as Senior Coach. Nicola McNally completes the management team as Female Liaison Officer.
Maureen King, Manager of Foxrock Cabinteely LGFC Senior Team, brings over 30 years of leadership experience having played both club and inter county football with Dublin. Having been part of the team’s management with Peter Clarke and Alan (Nipper) McNally, Maureen takes charge of one of the most successful teams in Dublin Ladies Football, winning 7 back-to-back Senior Club Championships and 6 Leinster Titles in recent years.
Maureen King is former Chair of Dublin County Board and a lifelong volunteer with the GAA. She is an entrepreneur and business owner and serves on several NGOs, that positively impact on young people’s lives through education.
Maureen King, Manager of Foxrock Cabinteely LGFC Senior Team said, “I am privileged to lead a team of high-performing young women who are also talented and dedicated footballers. Together with the players, we have put an experienced and ambitious management team in place to share the next chapter of the FoxCab journey with. Our commitment is to work hard, with a shared ambition to continuously improving and caring for each other both on and off the field.’’
Marie Crotty, “Crotty” renowned as one of the greatest players ever to hail from Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford, is Head of Team Selection / Coach on the Foxrock Cabinteely management team. Marie Crotty has won multiple All-Ireland Senior Club Championships, Munster Club titles, Senior All-Irelands and Munster Championships with Waterford. Crotty was inducted into the LGFA Hall of Fame in 2018 and has held of several coaching and selector roles.
Foxrock Cabinteely’s Head of Player Management is Rachel Doolin, a qualified and highly respected Strength and Conditioning coach. Rachel has coached with New Zealand Sports Academy’s Rugby, St. Marys College RFC, Dublin Camogie and is currently Head of Athletic Development with Dublin Ladies Development Squad and is Assistant S&C with the Senior panel.
Shane Rice is Senior Coach and is director and founder of GAA Periodization which helps players reach their potential through training, nutrition, and lifestyle adjustments.
Nicola McNally will take up the role of Female Liaison Officer (FLO). Nicola is a highly experienced administrator, she has been part of the management team for several years in the role of performance stats. Nicola is a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) and has been a lifelong member of the GAA.

In her working life, Maureen’s purpose is "to do the right thing, the right way for the right reason" and I know that she will apply these same principles to managing our senior team.
