After many years of dedication to Foxrock Cabinteely GAA Club—as an Executive Committee member, Vice Chairperson, mentor, coach and most importantly, manager of the FoxCab Ladies senior team—Maureen King has taken the decision to step down.

 

Maureen was at the helm of our clubs most exciting and successful moments so far, including during the famed 6-in-a-row Dublin and Leinster titles between 2016-2021. Her team and player management skills and her advocacy at Club, County and national level has played a key role in improving the standing of Ladies Football across the board. 

 

We know that that everyone at FoxCab GAA thanks Maureen for her indelible contributions over the years and wishes her the very best in her next chapter. Mile buíochas, a chara. 

 

With Maureen's departure from Foxrock Cabinteely GAA Club, a new member of the Executive Committee has come on board. Anna Buckley has joined as a full member of the Executive Committee and brings a wealth of experience from her working life in the Regulatory and Risk field. Anna is also involved in our underage teams set up, being an enthusiastic FLO for our under 10s team. The Executive Committee welcomes Anna to the board and is very much looking forward to working with her.
